Aggie Seabotix

 

 Initially our team had many proposed methods for building the arm, but after congregating, the most efficient and accomplishable design within our skillset was developed.

 

The arm assembly has three movements that will be programmed.

 

  • Up and down using a 4 inch actuactor on a lever

  • Rotation of the claw using a servo

  • Opening and Closing of the Claw using another servo

 

With the aid of the thrusters, we will be able to accomplish our mission tasks simply and efficiently.

 

As the Arm Team, our mission is to provide an arm for our ROV with abilities to complete the tasks at hand.
