Aggie Seabotix
As the Circuit Team, we stand to produce a workable and reliable electrical power and signal system for our ROV.
Our team was tasked with wiring and arranging the Robot's electrical components. We provide signal and power.
We separated the high power and low power electrical components into two different chambers to prevent interference. The low power components on an acrylic frame include the Arduino and Raspberry pi mother boards, as well as a relay board.
We designed tethers of approximately 30 meters to avoid cable breakage or environmental damage by additional slack. The tether was protected by a nylon overwrap to minimize possible electrical hazards and breakage.
